Gbelen djembe from Guinea
Authentic handmade hardwood djembe with an djembe body out of gbelen (Prosopis africana) from Guinée. Smooth bearing edge protects the thick goat skin with pattern. Skin finish is twisted against slipping. 5mm djembe polyester rope wich remembers in Wula design of rope from the past got used for verticals. Same style you will find for the wrap of rings with is made of blue satin. 32 loops on the rings are made with double cow hitches. Loops ar made of 3mm and 4mm polyester djembe rope in black. The flesh ring is done out of 8mm strong steel. The hardwood is protected by wood oil.
