Upcycled djembe from Mali including djembe bag
The instrument got originally produced in Mali and is handmade of one piece of hardwood called dugura.
In the course of upcycling some fundamental problems with building the shell and mounting got eleminated. The wood got also new wood protection inside, some brushing outside and a new, pre-shaved white goat skin, so that all further owners of this professional djembe will enjoy it for long time.
Beside the dirty look this professional djembe is a real treasure due to the old wood and perfect dimensions. The sound is rich and comes with a full bass. The verticals got an addional loop to take any belt so that you are able to play this djembe standing any time.
The djembe also comes with a fitting bag in green. Adjustable shoulder straps, handle and small top bag are some major facts about this djembe case like the well padded walls of the bag. Some material got out of one stitching (photo) for a few centimerters.
